Freelancers, we can change our material conditions

To our freelancer community —

Freelancers: Today is Election Day. It may not always feel like it, but the truth is we are mighty in numbers, and have the power to change the material conditions of our lives. That power extends to the ballot box.

Our livelihoods, our healthcare, our rights, and our economic futures are shaped by the decisions of those we elect. Independent workers are a growing political force. It’s time we voted like one.

Today, make your voice heard. Vote for a future where every worker has the freedom, security, and dignity they deserve. Not registered? Your state may offer same day registration. And if you see something amiss at your polling site, or someone tries to stop you from voting, don't let it go unreported. Call the Election Protection hotline.

P.S.: Open Enrollment (aka your chance to select benefits for 2027) is here. Here's what to consider as you pick your plan, and don't forget we have some options for you, too.
