Greater St. Cloud makes 200,000 people in the metropolitan area

The St. Cloud, MN Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) has a population of around 200,000-202,000, with the city of St. Cloud itself having roughly 72,000 residents as of 2024 estimates, with surrounding communities like Waite Park, Sauk Rapids, and Sartell adding to the broader urban area's headcount.
